Tomintoul

Die Whiskybrennerei Tomintoul liegt bei Ballindalloch, Moray in Schottland. Damit ist sie der Whiskyregion Speyside zuzuordnen, obwohl sie nach dem nahegelegenen Ort Tomintoul benannt ist, welcher in der Region Highlands liegt. Die Brennerei wurde 1964 von zwei Unternehmern gegründet. Seit 2000 ist die Destillerie im Besitz von den Angus Dundee Distillers. Die Destillerie hat zwei Wash Stills und zwei Spirit Stills, damit können bis zu 32000 hektoliter Alkohol pro Jahr hergestellt werden.
