Der Yello Spot 12 Jahre ist ein Whisky, der nicht einer unter vielen Blends darstellt, sondern eine richtige Besonderheit, die in Irland zu entdecken ist. Denn der Yello Sport 12 Jahre ist ein Single Pot Still Whisky. Nicht in einem säulenförmigen Brennkessel, sondern einem Kupferbrennkessel destilliert, ist er eine wirklich exklusive und traditionelle Spirituose, welche es seit Mitte der 20-er Jahre zu kaufen gibt. Gebrannt wird dieser Whisky in der Midleton Distillery, welche die bekanntesten Whiskys Irlands herstellt. Nach dem Brennen reift der Yello Spot für 12 Jahre in drei verschiedenen Fassarten, in denen entweder Bourbon aus Amerika oder Sherry aus Spanien ruhten. Der Whisky verspricht ein saftiges, aber gleichzeitig auch wunderbar fruchtiges Aroma. Auch Noten von Sherry und Vanillesüße mischen sich in dieses Getränk, was es wunderbar harmonisch macht. Auch Aprikosen und Pfirsich verwöhnen die Nase, sodass nicht nur Genießer, sondern auch andere Liebhaber guter Spirituose voll auf ihre Kosten kommen. Im Geschmack kommen die fruchtigen Züge zum Tragen, sodass er kräftig, charismatisch und sommerlich wirkt. Die dichte und samtige Struktur des Whiskys kann auch durch sein Aroma unterstrichen werden. Das Finish wird vor allem von Weichheit geprägt, neben Trockenobst kommen auch Nuancen von Marzipan zum Vorschein.
